Franc Aleu – Der Lichtmaler

Franc Aleu begann als Fotograf und gründete 1989 zusammen mit anderen Künstlern die Gruppe MAAT, bevor er sich ab 1990 stärker mit Video und audiovisueller Kunst auseinandersetzte. Eine intensive Zusammenarbeit verbindet ihn mit La Fura dels Baus, so kreierte er die Videos u.a. in deren Inszenierungen von Die Zauberflöte bei der Ruhrtriennale, Der Ring des Nibelungen in Valencia, Tristan und Isolde in Lyon.
